Our first trip to the Pumpkin Farm. . .

Kyla made her first public outings this weekend. Yes, her first trip other than a Dr. or a relative was to Sam's Club, where she convinced us to buy her a huge stuffed black bear (we are such suckers). Then it was on to Toys R Us and the pumpkin farm. She had a good long nap after that outing!

Getting ready for a Road Trip. . .

"Dreaming of grandma's and of being held 24-hours a day!"

"Please don't fall on me dad, I'm not big enough to catch you!"

Well, Kyla took her first weekend trip away from home to stay with Ken's parents, so her zombie like parents could sleep and return to a human-like state. As you can tell from the photos she was wide-eyed with excitement and a bit scared as Ken hovered over her to get her ready. Okay, so I just had to share the picture of her in her first pair of jeans and her coming home gift from Sydney.

Two month check-up

"Umm. . .mom. . .there is a giant beaver trying to attack me!"

"Just got my shots. . .sleep"

Kyla survived her two month shots better than her parents did, and she is growing like a mini-weed. Her 9 week stats:

9 lbs 0.5 oz (15%)
21.75 inches (20%)

It is so cool that she is starting to smile and notice things like her mobile. We'll have her up, walking, and potty trained in no time!

Okay, just some fun snap shots to celebrate Labor Day and her nine week birthday. She has her 2-month check-up tomorrow and her first set of shots. Wish us luck! Will post her official "stats" and how the shots went later this week!
