My first AAU/USATF Track and Field Meet
I got a foul on my first jump, but I pulled off 2.66m (8'8.75") which won me a bronze medal!
I was exhausted by the time I got to shot put because it was 7 hours into the meet.
The national qualifying standard was 5.2m.
I had an off day, and threw 4.48, 4.66, and 5.24m (17'2.25") which was still enough to qualify me for the USA Track & Field National Youth Championships and earn me a silver medal!

The national qualifying standard in javelin is 14.1m. I threw 11.56, 14.27, and 14.82 (48'7.5"). By the way, I didn't even know what a javelin was a month ago, and yes, I more than doubled most of the other girl's throws.
To top it off, I got chosen as the coach's female athlete of the week for winning medals in all three events and qualifying for nationals in two of them. I was the only 9-10 female athlete on the team to qualify for nationals!
