USATF National Youth Championships

USATF Youth National Championships in Geneva Ohio

Day 1 with Javelin was postponed due to smoke from the Canadian wildfires.

My heat of the 15-16 girls javelin. We were the top ranked.

I tweaked my elbow, so not my best throwing, but I'm giving Jerry (my javelin) a kiss for good luck. 

I made the National Finals!!

8th place was competing in a different event, because the awards were 2.5 hours after the event. 

I placed 5th in the nation and was given All American Honors with my 79'10" throw. . .about 10 feet off my PR. 

I skipped some throw, because my elbow was really bothering me. 

This was as close as dad was allowed to discus. I missed finals by one place. I finished 9th overall with a throw of 88'9"

On to shot put, where I was not expected to be anywhere near finals. I had a great day, threw 29'1.75" to just make finals and place 8th!!!

No photos of me triple jumping, but I jumped 29'9.25" and placed 12th.
