Abrupt End to 6th Grade

 After the tornado, they cancelled the rest of the school year since my school, Morton Middle School was being used as a shelter for storm victims. It was weird, because I had just finished homework and we hadn't had field day or the talent show or any end of year closure.

 We did have to go back to the school with mom just to pick up my things. This is one of my favorite teachers, Mrs. Kahn.

 Mrs. Kahn kept my airplane.

 And my hat and my Lincoln Memorial.

 I got straight A's for the year, and was named an Aviator Ace for being one of the top 20% of kids in the school in terms of grades, behavior, participation in school activities, & teacher recommendations.

Mom took me for a Hot Head burrito to celebrate.

Memorial Day Tornadoes

 More than 15 tornadoes struck on Memorial day. The biggest one went 1/2 a mile south of us, but one hot grandma, Alison, & Michele. We had no water for 4 days, but were otherwise in good shape.

We finally gave out and left at 4:30 am. It was awesome!

CYO Championship

 I threw 59'7" in discus for 2nd place.

 I threw 24'8" in shot put for 2nd place

 In bad winds, I ran 35.47 for 6th place

We went to celebrate with grandpa afterward.
