Baldwin Wallace Final Visit

I think this may be the place for me. I've met with two professors in the biology department and really liked both. The cadaver lab was super cool, and they have an early admission to medical school program. They are directly across from the Cleveland Clinic and offer internships there and with the Cleveland Browns sports medicine program. I love the coaches of the track team and I would be a varsity javelin thrower as a Freshman. Oh, and I got a huge merit scholarship and Ohio STEM scholarship!

Troy Up & Running Inviational

First meet of the season and getting some kinks out. I threw 27'8.5" and finished 11th out of 43 throwers.

Mav's first track meet. He did pretty good.

Discus was a great day. All three were over 94' with the best one being 99'6" which placed me 5th out of 41 throwers! First 4 points of the season.

 

Final Visit to Rose Hulman

 Took a second visit to Rose Hulman to meet with the track coaches and decided it was the track team holding me back from choosing here. I went in and the coach thought I was a long jumper and did not have any of my current marks, so he was treating us like a courtesy visit. When we told him they were Freshman year marks and ALL of the Milesplit profiles were mine, he turned into a totally different person. He realized that I would have placed in discus, javelin, and triple jump and he turned into a totally different person trying to recruit me. I wasn't a fan. Also, the throws coach reminded me of dad, so I really wouldn't have a discus or javelin coach. I really liked the school, but since I am going into pre-med and not engineering, it just isn't the right fit.
