Visit from Mom and Dad

Mom and dad came for a visit after the track meet

Mom got Mav a chocolate covered strawberry and yak chew for Valentines Day!

BW Dr. William Taraschke Team Challenge

Third Meet of the Year

Did I mention, I hate shot put? I threw 7.95m (26'1") for 18th out of 23 people. I did beat 2 teammates. 

On to weight throw! 

I'm finally getting the hang of this and got a HUGE PR. I threw 10.6m (34'9.5") and placed 18th out of 29 throwers. Hitting over 10m is a big deal and I beat 2 of my teammates! This is big because it is only my 3rd time competing in weight!

Kate Budde (right below me) and I have competed against each other since we were 9 years old in the summers. I have almost always beaten her by 1 place in shot, and the trend continues. Lol

 

Mom's Birthday

Otis had to get some matting trimmed, so he has a poodle tail now. :)

 

Rock Climbing

Decided to join a rock climbing gym and try to start a climbing club on campus! With Audrey.

Brown & Gold Meet

It was Brown v. Gold v. Alumni. I was on Brown and our team won for the first time in a decade!

I did much better! I got 9.91m (32'6") in weight throw which was a HUGE PR and 8.38m (27'6") in shot put!
