Valentine's Day 2010

Valentine's Day was eventful. Kyla had her first Valentine's Day party on the 15th, and nothing confirms a pre-school Valentine's Day party more than mom ending up covered in rainbow colored candy vomit from head to toe. Ah, the joys of motherhood.

Yes, we had yet another 9" of snow and Kyla is home from school. Ken had to work a rare night shift, so he is home, too. We've tried to be creative in entertaining an overactive 2-year-old.

Sorry the blog went on vacation while I was gone for a couple of weeks in a row. First to Ft Leavenworth and then to Hawaii to help my sister out after her surgery. Now as I watch the snow continue to pile up, I'm catching up. Kyla is doing well and enjoying her snow day at home with mom today. Trying to get Ken to do one of his snow sculptures now that we actually have a little one to enjoy it.
