Northeastern Invitational

Poring rain, and I jumped with my eyes closed.

Not my best, but I pulled off 13'2" and took 1st place in the meet!

On to a VERY wet discus ring. Rain running down my face. I threw 81'1" and took 2nd place.

Again, not my best, but not bad for the horrible weather. I threw 31'1.5" for 3rd place.

Yes, I scored 24 points for my team, so I outscored 5 schools by myself. :)

I threw discus in the relay with Kenzie, but mom only got videos and not a picture

I also ran in the 4 x 400m, and we took 4th.

End of the relay. I think I'll stick to jumping and throwing.

I threw 82'2" and Kenzie threw 55'3", and we won first by 32 feet!!!

Greenville Invitational

Friends who do track together, get PRs together! Me with Lacey Bowman, Scarlett Chambers, & Anna Thomas.

Discus had some great throwers, but I pulled off my 2nd best throw of the year 83'2" and won!

The guy in the yellow hoodie is Tyler. He is a throwers, but was not competing. He came to follow me around to each of my events to support me. Nice, but ugh. He has a big crush on me, but I definitely do not feel the same way.

With Noel Smith. We are the top two long jumpers and we also play basketball together. We beat the Greenville basketball team on the court and now on the track, too!

Long jump, and I finally cleared 14'0.5"!!!!! I went in seeded 5th and ended up placing 2nd!

Okay, mom did not get a good shot put picture, but I came late because of long jump. There were a ton of good throwers at this meet, and I only got in at the last round. My first throw was 28'4.5", which put me in 6th place. Then I threw 28'9.5" and 25'4".  First place was 31'4.5".  Everyone was thinking it was over, and they were packing up and walking away. I decided to try a glide, threw my 2nd best throw of the year, and pulled off a 32'3.25" to shock everyone and win. 

I got 28 points for my team, and have been the top point getter at every meet so far this year.

To give my body a break from all the meets, coach just put me in discus for the relay meet with Grace. 

Grace only threw 48'3" (a PR for her), but I got my 2nd best throw of the season, 81'8", and we pulled off 2nd out of 8 teams.
