This is us on the charter bus. . .that broke down on the highway 90 minutes from campus and 40 minutes from the meet.
We hung out for 2 hours
And then all jammed into a 15 passenger van
And got to the meet late. Mom and Dad took pity and found some girl scouts and brought a case of girl scout cookies for the team. Everyone loved them!!
Shot put was another PR.
8.64m (28'4.35") and 10th place
Weight throw had a cracked ring and I ended up falling. One of my worst meets.
8.64m (28'4")--yes, the same as shot put. Placed 11th.
Faith made ribbons for everyone's hair with bumble bee ribbon and gold honeycombs and mom was loving them.
