First up: Shot put!
28'8.5". . .not a PR, but good enough for 1st place!
I asked the Coach to put me in long jump, but he wasn't convinced. He gave me a chance anyway.
My jumps looked great!
I landed 13'2" and won 1st in the meet.
On to discus and a big PR of 84'1" and a 3rd 1st place!! I scored 30 points for the team, and we won the meet! I was the only athlete at the meet to take home three 1st places, and it was awesome. I got my name on the announcements at school, and kids were talking about me in the hall. I was pretty dang excited!
